I would be remiss if I didn’t mention a heavenly experience I had in downtown Marshfield, Wisconsin. I felt like Adam Richman from MVF as I stepped into the amazing yet unassuming joint known as Lammars Smokehouse BBQ! The smells were delectable and the environment was friendly. They dry rub their meat and slow smoke it using hickory wood to provide authentic BBQ flavor. I ordered the “Pulled Pork Loaded” and five minutes later fell in love with the delectable meat sandwich. Adam Fischer recommended that I smother the glorious concoction with “Big Red” which was invented by the owners teenaged son who was sitting at a booth and greeted us when we walked in. When I bit into the delectable sandwich I hit pork nirvana! You immediately taste the creaminess of the unconventional coleslaw and its followed up by the smokey robust flavor of the pork and thanks to the “Big Red” sauce finishes with an amazing tangy tweak in your cheeks! They even have the boss hog challenge where many have tried to finish the 4 pound sandwich but only two have completed it. I didn’t take the challenge this time but I will be back again to Lammars Smokehouse BBQ and I will be ready!---Jason Kaat

Definitely the best food in Marshfield and likely some of the best BBQ in the state. Great menu to pick from and portions sizes that will fill up anyone at a price no one should complain about. 5 stars from me and my family.
